Guatemala is a country that feels like a living poem – full of intense colours, deep history and overwhelming nature.
There are journeys you experience – and those you feel. Our ENERGETIX training trip to Guatemala definitely fell into the second category.
As part of our „Explore the ENERGETIX World!“ competition, our top-performing business partners had the chance to discover a country together that left a deep impression on everyone with its diversity, culture and energy.

Arriving in another world
It became clear to us as soon as we arrived: Guatemala is different. Colonial towns, impressive volcanic landscapes and the ever-present history of Mayan culture create a very special atmosphere.
We began our journey together in Antigua – amidst colourful façades, bustling streets and our first in-depth conversations, which quickly brought us closer together as a group.

Culture we could feel
Whether visiting traditional villages, at the colourful market in Chichicastenango or chatting with the locals – we didn’t just see Guatemalan culture, we experienced it first-hand.
The colours, the scents and the warmth of the people left a lasting impression on us.

Nature that inspires
A very special highlight for us was Lake Atitlán.
Surrounded by volcanoes and small villages, we felt the beauty and tranquillity of this unique place.

Through boat trips across the lake, encounters with local artists and a traditional cacao ceremony, we were able to immerse ourselves deeply in the atmosphere of the country.

In the footsteps of the Maya
As we moved into the Petén jungle, our journey became even more intense. The impressive temple complexes of Tikal transported us to another time.
A moment none of us will ever forget: the sunrise over the ruins – accompanied by the sounds of the jungle waking up.

More than just a trip
For all participants, this trip was far more than just a reward. It was a source of inspiration, motivation and, above all, a powerful shared experience.
We not only discovered a fascinating country, but also learnt from one another, exchanged ideas and gained new perspectives.
